What is gloobts?
gloobts is an acronym which stands for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender search. The "oo" was added in order to create a word that would be easy to pronounce. (gloobts rhymes with boots)
Initially, the idea behind gloobts was to produce a customized version of Google which yields results that are gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender related. It also seeks to find "gay-friendly" results.
In addition to the gloobts-search, we have added gloobts-local which promotes gay-friendly businesses around the globe. Now, with the addition of gloobts-wiki, our goal is to continue providing glbt related information that YOU can help us with.
Created using the same software as Wikipedia, gloobts-wiki is ready for your input.

If you would like to share with us here at the gloobts-wiki project your glbt-related scholarly paper(s), we can create two copies; one protected copy for our archives (this will not be editable by the public), and another copy that will be editable by the public.

This site was created and is maintained by volunteers. The Google Ads are to help pay for domain registration, hosting fees, and other administrative costs. However, we are in the process of creating a gloobts scholarship fund.
Our hope is to begin offering scholarships to university students wanting to focus on Queer Studies. The winner(s) will be chosen based on gpa and an essay competition. More information will become available as we further develop this program.
